Sub-Account Users vs. Outside Team Members
While choosing between adding additional users to your account or simply inviting other team members via an Outside Team, it's important to understand how it may impact your Subscription Plan.
When an Account Owner chooses to add additional users from within the Billing & Plans tab, Account Owners are adding users to their subscription as an additional paid seat. This option is designed to accommodate office staff members that all work within one business entity and wish for the billing charges to all be included in to a single paid account.
When an Account Owner employs virtual assistants or other part-time help that may work for several different Account Owners, inviting them to work as an Outside Team member is the best option. Each invited Outside Team member is required to have their own paid Subscription Plan. This means when an Account Owner invites them to work within their Outside Team, the invitee is paying their own subscription charges.

Note - Account Owners utilizing a free trail, or have paused or canceled their plan, will not be eligible to be invited to work within an Outside Team until they have a active paid Subscription Plan.
