Scraping Records & Your Account

Scraping a website, also known as web scraping or data scraping, is the process of using a computer program to extract data from a website and store it in a local file or spreadsheet. 

While scraping is completely acceptable on any data that is readily available for public access, contrary to popular belief, there are times where scraping is considered stealing and illegal. One of these instances are when the data being scraped is considered proprietary to the targeted website. 

Because the business model of ParkSitesIO, LLC includes its staff manually investigating mobile home park and RV parks and then providing the manually recorded records in exchange for a fee to its users, all of the mobile home park and RV park records within the ParkSitesIO website are considered proprietary to ParkSitesIO, LLC.

For this reason ParkSitesIO, LLC has incorporated security measures within the ParkSitesIO website that monitors malicious user behavior such as scraping.

While our goal is our user's success, ParkSitesIO, LLC has zero-tolerance for any behavior related to scraping the ParkSitesIO website. Any user, or associate of the user, found attempting to scrape the ParkSitesIO website will result in the user's account being permanently banned for future ParkSitesIO use in it's entirety. This includes all users belonging to the violating user's specific account.

ParkSitesIO simply asks that you don't place our staff in the uncomfortable situation of having to permanently ban you, and possibly your entire organization, because of one bad misconception.
