Introduction to the Park Sites View

Introduction to the Park Sites View

In this article, we'll discuss the basics of the Park Sites View and begin to familiarize you with accessing specific mobile home and RV parks, your private CRM records, and other various options.

The Park Sites View of the ParkSitesIO dashboard is a map-driven graphical way to view, manage, and track your CRM records and mobile home and RV parks throughout the United States. It replaces spreadsheets by organizing your records within each park record that is represented by map pins on an integrated Google Map.

Each map pin represents a single mobile home or RV park (A.K.A. a Park Site) while the color of the map pin represents the specific status of the park with the ParkSitesIO system.

  1. Green map pin (Active) - Indicates that there is park information available for viewing
  2. Black map pin (No Data) - Indicates that there is no park information available, but the location has been verified to have an MH/RV park.
  3. Red map pin (Closed) - Indicates that the park has been permanently closed or has not been rebuilt since a disaster occurred.

Activity Center
Clicking on a map pin opens the park's Activity Center which allows a user to view information about the park that ParkSitesIO has uncovered while also allowing a user to manage their private information such as CRM records, Park Notes, and Park Tags.

Additionally, when a user defines specific colors and labels using the Manage option within the toolbar's Pinned Parks option, users can quickly change the color of the park's map pin by selecting the color from within the park's Activity Centers.

While the limitations of the Pinned Park option are completely based on the user's imagination, this allows a user to visually identify specific parks on the map that may be frequently worked with or that have entered a specific pipeline step.

Toolbar
The options within the Park Sites View toolbar allow users to quickly access parks that a user may have changed the pin color for (also referred to as pinning a park), added group tags to, or even CRM records.
  1. Search Location - By entering a state name or address, a user can view parks within that geographical location.
  2. Filter - By utilizing the options within the filter, users can search and display parks that meet specific criteria.
  3. Pinned Parks - By clicking the Pinned Parks option within the main toolbar, a user can quickly see a list of parks that they have changed the map pin color from within the Activity Center.  Clicking the Manage option within the Pinned Parks drawer allows users to customize each pin color and label that they utilize within the Activity Center
  4. Tagged Parks - Clicking the Tagged Parks option within the toolbar allows a user to view the list of parks which they have added group tags to. Users can utilize the Manage option within the Tagged Parks drawer to add, edit, or delete the tags that they have used.
  5. CRM Parks - Whenever a user has added a private lead or contact to a specific park using the Activity Center's CRM option, the contact's information is stored within the user's CRM records and automatically linked to the ParkSitesIO park record. Users can quickly see a searchable list of parks containing linked CRM records by clicking the CRM Parks option from within the main toolbar.
  6. Add New Park - To ensure the park records with ParkSitesIO remain consistent only the staff at ParkSitesIO can add new parks to the system. However, ParkSitesIO is always looking for new parks that may not have already been identified. By clicking the Add New Park option within the main toolbar, users can request that a new park be added and researched by the ParkSitesIO staff.
  7. Views Dropdown - When a user wishes to work with their leads and contacts from the vantage point of a list, rather than a map view, they can simply choose the CRM option from within the Views dropdown.

Note - To maintain data integrity, park records are NOT allowed to be imported into the ParkSitesIO system. Instead, after importing your contacts users can simply link their contacts to the park records within ParkSitesIO.
