Introduction to a Park's Activity Center

Introduction to a Park's Activity Center

Clicking on a map pin within the Park Sites View opens a mobile home or RV park's Activity Center so the user can begin working with the park's information and associated CRM records. In this article, we'll introduce the Resource Center to give the user an understanding of each of the Activity Center's options and their functionality.

To open a park's Activity Center, click on any park within the Park Sites View map. Upon clicking a park, the park's Activity Center will open from the left side of the dashboard.

In addition to displaying the park's basic information such as name, phone number, and location the options within a park's Activity Center are grouped into 4 individual sections based on their functionality.

Pin Color Control
Referred to as "Pinning a Park" within ParkSitesIO, this option allows the user to change the park's pin color, as it displays on the map, to any defined color the user has chosen to set up within the Pinned Parks option of the Toolbar.

Info - For more information about managing your park map pin colors, please refer to our article titled Managing Your Park Map Pin Colors.
Note - Clicking the Pinned Parks option of the dashboard's toolbar will quickly display a list of parks that the user has customized the map pin color using the Park Color Control.

ParkSitesIO Supplied Park Information
There are 4 aspects of information that ParkSitesIO provides to each account for the mobile home or RV park within the ParkSitesIO system.
  1. Park Details - Clicking this option will display the physical attributes that ParkSitesIO has managed to uncover for the associated park. These include it's physical address, lot breakdown, and more.
  2. People Insights - Clicking this option displays the contact information for people such as owners, managers, and CEOs that the ParkSitesIO staff has managed to uncover for the specific park. When a contact is associated with more than one park, a clickable icon  will appear for the contact. By clicking the icon, users can view a list of all parks this contact is associated with. Additionally, a user can choose to import the contact into their private CRM records by clicking the Add Contact icon .
  3. City Demographics - Clicking this option will display the demographics of the town or city the park resides in.
  4. Parcel Data - Clicking this option will display the actual Parcel Owner for the park along with up to 47 other attributes the park's county may have on record.
Note - The City Demographics and Parcel Data options are populated by information supplied by third-party vendors and are updated independently of ParkSitesIO.

User's Private Park Records
In addition to the information that ParkSitesIO supplies for each park, users can add or link their contacts from within their CRM records to the park while also including additional notes and tags related to the park. Everything entered using these 3 options is kept entirely private to your account.
  1. CRM - Clicking this option displays the contacts from the user's CRM records that have been linked to the specific park. Additionally, when the user uses the +Add button, they can choose to add an existing or new contact to the park.
  2. Park Notes - Clicking this option allows the user to enter searchable notes about the park.
  3. Park Tags - Clicking this option allows the user to add searchable tags to the park's record for quick reference later.
Note - Clicking the dashboard's toolbar CRM Parks and Tagged Parks options will quickly display a list of parks to which the user has added relative information.

External Links
At times users may wish to see additional information about a mobile home or RV park that ParkSitesIO may not have on record. In these instances, ParkSitesIO offers 5 additional external link options.
  1. County Website - Clicking this option opens a new browser tab displaying the park's county website.
  2. State Website - Clicking this option opens a new browser tab displaying the park's state website.
  3. FEMA's Flood Map - Clicking this option opens a new browser tab displaying FEMA's National Flood Hazard Layer relative to the park's location.
  4. View in Google Maps - Clicking this option opens a new browser tab displaying the park's location in Google Maps.
  5. Google this Park - Clicking this option opens a new browser tab displaying the Google results of searching the park by name and location.
Note - Not all counties within the United States have a county website. In these situations, the County Website option will not be displayed.
