Using custom pin colors to organize mobile home and RV parks while viewing the map is a great way to track parks owned by specific companies or even track a park's workflow stages.
When a user chooses to change the default map pin, it is referred to as "Pinning a Park" within ParkSitesIO.
Before a user can pin a park using the Pin Color Control within a park's Activity Center, they must first set up their list of custom map pins. In this article, we'll cover how to set up your Custom Map Pins, which can be utilized to pin parks within the Activity Center.
Note - While customizing the actual color of a park's map pin is performed within the park's Activity Center, the user must first set up the pre-defined set of custom map pins using the Manage option within the toolbar's Pinned Parks option.
To begin managing your customized map pin colors and labels, click the Pinned Parks option within the dashboard's toolbar. By default after clicking the Pinned Parks option, a list of parks that you have chosen to Pin, by changing its map pin color, will display. If the user has not pinned any parks, a simple message appears indicating such.
With the Pinned Parks option open, click the Manage button to begin adding new custom map pin or edit your existing map pin colors and labels.
After you have set up your custom map pins, they will begin displaying as options within the Pin Color Control of the Activity Center.
