Deleting a Custom Map Pin

Deleting a Custom Map Pin

At times a user may wish to completely delete a specific custom map pin that they've set up within their Pinned Park options. In this article, we'll familiarize you with how to delete a custom map pin using the Manage option within your toolbar's Pinned Parks

Note - Custom Map Pins intended for deletion CAN NOT have any parks associated with them at the time of deletion. Users should either revert the park's map pin to its default map pin or apply a different custom map pin before deleting the custom map pin.

To begin the process of deleting a custom map pin, navigate to Pinned Parks by clicking the toolbar's Pinned Park option.

With the Pinned Parks view displaying, click the Manage option and locate the Custom Map Pin you wish to delete.

Click the Action eclipsis located at the left of the intended record you would like to delete. With the Actions menu open, click Delete.

Upon confirmation, your Custom Map Pin will be deleted from the system.

Warning - Deleting a Custom Map Pin permanently removes it from your ParkSitesIO account.
