Introduction to People Insights

Many times while trying to identify a property's owner, the property's parcel data won't reveal the full story. Often Parcel Data contains the name of a company or even a registered agent, rather than the actual owner of the property. To counter this issue, the staff at ParkSitesIO manually researches each park's public information to help reveal specific people who are personally associated with a specific park and display it in our People Insights option.

In this article, we'll introduce you to the People Insights option within a park's Activity Center, and familiarize you with some of the key features of the People Insights option.



Overview
The People Insights option within each park's Activity Center is designed to complement the information a user would normally find within a park's Parcel Data. While not included in every park's record, individuals identified within a park's People Insight have been researched by the staff at ParkSitesIO and found to be directly associated with the park in some manner.

When a person is identified as being associated with a park the ParkSitesIO staff attempts to provide as much contact information as possible along with categorizing the person. There are 5 possible categories that an individual can be identified as being associated with a park. They are:
  1. Owner - This category is applied when our staff has uncovered the person as a park owner.
  2. Manager - This category is applied when our staff has uncovered the person as being the park manager.
  3. CEO - This category is applied when a company owns the park and not privately owned.
  4. Other - This category is applied when the associated person does not fall into the Owner, Manager, or CEO categories. 
  5. Unknown - This category is applied when the ParkSitesIO staff has identified a relationship between the person and the park but is unsure of the exact relationship. 

Key Features
When a person has been identified as being associated with more than one park within the ParkSitesIO system, a Park Icon will start appearing at the top-right of the person's contact information. 

When the user clicks the Park Icon, a new window will open displaying the person's contact information along with a full list of parks that person is associated with within the ParkSitesIO system. 



Additionally, when a user wishes to save the associated person's contact information to the user's private CRM, users can click the Add Contact button in the top-right of the person's card. While adding the associated person to the user's CRM, the user can option to also copy the related park links that ParkSitesIO has. This ensures that the person will start displaying within the user's CRM records for each associated park.


Note - Because of the corporate complexity some park owners choose to utilize, properly identifying a specific contact can be virtually impossible. Because of this complexity, not every park record within ParkSitesIO will display information within the People Insights option.
