Zapier Integration Basics

While not affiliated with ParkSitesIO, Zapier is an online automation tool that connects your apps and services. Using a Zapier account users can connect two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without coding or relying on developers to build the integration. When users choose to utilize the ParkSitesIO Zapier Integration with their Zapier account, they must supply Zapier with their personal API Key provided by ParkSitesIO within their Account Settings.

Note - For security purposes, your encrypted API key should never be shared with other individuals as it helps maintain security between your Zapier account and your ParkSitesIO account.

Note - In the event that your personal API key is lost or stolen, you can regenerate a new API key from within the Zapier Integration settings of your Account Settings.

Alert - For security purposes, sub-account users within a Subscription Plan will not have permission to access the Zapier Integration tab. Please contact your Subscription Plan's Account Owner to have them integrate Zapier with ParkSitesIO.

After supplying Zapier with their API Key users can start to build Zaps, within Zapier, that will assist them in mapping their CRM fields within ParkSitesIO to the fields within other 3rd party apps. 

By utilizing a Create/Update event within a Zap, users can trigger a Zap to execute which sends a contact's information from ParkSitesIO to any other 3rd party app. Alternatively, if another 3rd party app is supported within Zapier, users can create Zaps to send a contact's information from the other 3rd party app to ParkSitesIO.
