Overview
In this article, we'll discuss the basics of the CRM View options within the ParkSitesIO dashboard and provide a basic overview of the options within the CRM View option.
While the Park Sites View option allows the user to work from the perspective of a map, the CRM View provides the user with a more traditional list view as they work with their leads, contacts, and companies.
By utilizing the CRM View's main toolbar users can work directly with their Contacts and Companies records, import contacts from an outside platform using a CSV or TXT file, or export their contacts.
Leads vs Contacts
Each contact record within ParkSitesIO is required to be categorized as either a Lead or Contact to help you quickly identify who may be a prospect and who has engaged your brand.
While these categories are fairly self-explanatory and used widely within CRM platforms, Leads can be defined as individuals that you are interested in doing business with but have not formally introduced yourself or services to. Contrary to a Lead, Contacts are defined as individuals that are familiar with you or your services and have started to engage with your business.
One-to-Many Relationship
One limitation that traditional CRM platforms have is that each Contact is limited to a single one-to-one company relationship. However, in real life, a single contact can often work, own, or be related to many companies. That's why ParkSitesIO has been designed so that an individual contact can be linked to multiple companies.
Contrary to spreadsheets, managing Company records independently and then simply linking them to specific Contacts allows a user to edit and update a company's information without having to perform the edit on every Contact within your CRM.
Import Option
Using the Import Wizard built within the CRM View, users can easily import their contacts within a CSV or TXT file. During an import, the wizard will help clean your list so that duplicate contacts and companies are correctly cleaned and restructured to match the ParkSitesIO system.
In the event that your CSV or TXT file has irregularities in its structuring that prevent it from being imported, ParkSitesIO offers a paid personal onboarding option. Please email

Note - To maintain data integrity, park records are NOT allowed to be imported into the ParkSitesIO system. Instead, after importing your contacts users can simply link their contacts to the park records within ParkSitesIO.
