Accessing Your Zapier API Key

While not affiliated with ParkSitesIO, Zapier is an online automation tool that connects your apps and services. Using a Zapier account users can connect two or more apps to automate repetitive tasks without coding or relying on developers to build the integration. Users can access their personal encrypted Zapier API Key within ParkSitesIO by first clicking their profile image in the top-right of the dashboard to open their profile's Resource Center. 

With the Resource Center open, navigate to your Account Settings by clicking the My Account button.

While viewing the Account Settings, navigate to the Zapier Integration tab.

While viewing the Zapier Integration tab, click the Generate Key button to generate the encrypted API Key for the first time. Alternatively, if you have already generated your API Key, click the Generate Key button to regenerate a new encrypted API Key. 

Warning - Each time you generate a new API Key, you will be required to update this information within Zapier for the Zapier Integration to work. 

Note - For security purposes, your encrypted API key should never be shared with other individuals as it helps maintain security between your Zapier account and your ParkSitesIO account.

Note - In the event that your personal API key is lost or stolen, you can regenerate a new API key from within the Zapier Integration settings of your Account Settings.

Alert - For security purposes, sub-account users within a Subscription Plan will not have permission to access the Zapier Integration tab. Please contact your Subscription Plan's Account Owner to have them integrate Zapier with ParkSitesIO.
